When, where, and how can i catch striped bass on the jersey shore. Any tips for setting the hook and bait presentation? Also when is the best time of year to fish for them and what party boats are the best and most productive for stripers?

get out there now. what the hell are u doing on the computer. i went last weekend and caught 30-40 of them with 6 keepers to 34'' all on trolled umbrella rigs and AVA diamond jigs. I know the Gambler out of point pleasant is a very nice boat and loads up on bass.Gamblerfishing.net. And the miss barnegat light out of barnegat light is a fast boat too. Missbarnegatlight.com. P.s if u go on a party boat bring many AVA diamond jigs with you in all sizes and colors.( when i say colors i mean the color of the tube tail that covers the tail). u will need them when bluefish show up. Also bring foul weather gear and waterproof boots if you have them. when you fish on aparty boat you can ask a mate to help you. A striper will hit with a single or sometimes 3 subtle taps before you have to ste the hook. Good luck. catch up they are everywhere
