I love fishing but never entered tournaments. I know I would win them all though. What do you fish for?

That is awesome! I have been fishing most of my life but always as recreational not as professional.

Congratulations. I think everyone on here has there strengths and weaknesses. Take me for example I am an avid fisherman, with my strong suit being Saltwater fishing. I have won many offshore fishing tournaments, and know enough to go out there knowing I will catch something even on the worst days. On the other hand I know almost nothing about the tips and techniques for fishing freshwater. But I think almost every person in this Fishing section could teach us all at least one thing we did not know already. If that makes any sense. You'll have to excuse my wording....A little tired and not thinking all that straight.

Well, I have a fair amount of Knowledge and Skill when it comes to fishing, more so with flyfishing. I'm not, and never will be ranked, I don't fish competively.

Don't get me wrong- for those who wish to do so, more power to them, I just find I have enough competition and pressure in my daily life from work- I don't need to add that to my recreation.

    Good luck.

What impact does you being ranked the best female minOR (not minER...note the spelling please....) have on the question you asked? Also, what would an answer from this question give you? It just seems that you needed a place to brag about your accomplishments.

That's great you hold an honoring title, but it truely means nothing to people here. Instead of catching fish...why don't you work on catching a little humility.

Freshwater fishing here in New Jersey I know very well...I'm not saying I'm the best because I know there are many people here on Yahoo Answers and in NJ who can fish much better than me but I know how to catch a variety of species for some reason. Congrats on your fishing achievement. Thats awesome...is it for Freshwater or Saltwater? What species do you usually aim for?
