I was on them last weekend hooked up with 6 and didn't bring one to the boat. They either broke off or spit the hook. I was using 30 pound mono with a 40 lb leader and they were breaking the leader. Any Advice on how to land these suckers?

Try not to pull the fish in when it doesn't want to be pulled. Let it pull in a little then let it go and pull in again, keep doing that till you feel that the fish is weak then try to pull it in. If its trying to run away again and you feel its still strong then do the pull a little let go technique. Good Luck!
