I saw a plastic lure at wal-mart once that resembled a fly. The bug, not the feathered type of lure. It was about blue-bottle sized, and realistic. Soft Plastic with clear wings, black body. I'd love to experiment with such a thing, but no one will tell me what it is. I should go back to wal-mart, but Id rather find it online. They also had a dragonfly and bee of that type, I believe...Im iffy on the dragonfly.

A fishing lure is false bait that you use to lure in fish, hence the name fishing lure. The fish thinks it is something to eat. They are commonly used during fresh water fishing.
