    pound for pound i would say the smallmouth from the niagara river in buffalo,they are some tough west siders.

    depends what kind of fight you want.
    hardest, smallmouth of the 3 to choose from.

    i like walleyes, they are more deep divers, just depends the fight you like.

    and the best could be either the Northern Pike, or Lake trout.

    absolutely agree, smallies are the most fun, and the hardest fighting fish. i love catching them in streams, they are even tougher than the ones in the lake.
